The Trans Educators Network was first founded in 2016. At this time, it consists of a listserv of transgender, genderqueer, and/or non-binary identified educators, primarily those working with PreK-12 populations across the United States. This includes classroom teachers, administrators, school staff, paraeducators, after school program leaders, teacher educators, and anyone who works with youth or teachers in an educational setting within or outside of schools.

There are also optional meetup groups located in various cities across the United States. Once you fill out the signup form, you will be connected with the organizers of any local meetup groups that may exist in your region.
